My Design Philosophy
My design philosophy revolves around merging creativity with functionality. I strive to create clean, vibrant designs that speak to diverse audiences, emphasizing accessibility and relatability. I prioritize themes that are family-friendly and inspired by the natural beauty of lakesides, aiming to evoke positive emotions and a sense of connection to the environment in my work. My goal is to craft designs that are not just visually appealing but also practical, catering to the unique needs of small businesses and state parks while maintaining a welcoming and relatable tone.
As a Pittsburgh-based visual artist, my diverse portfolio spans across various mediums—paint, ink, found objects, collages, and photography—forming a rich tapestry of creativity. Rooted in an anti-corporate, anti-racist stance, my work explores unconventional narratives and delves into emotion-laden themes like mental health, trauma, and abuse. Embracing an avant-garde approach, I aim to convey a sex-positive narrative while unraveling enigmatic layers that provoke thought and reflection.
